Elemental Composition Analysis using Energy Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence (ED-XRF) is a rapid, non-destructive analytical technique used to determine the qualitative and quantitative elemental composition of solid, powder, and liquid materials. ED-XRF provides accurate multi-element analysis from sodium (Na) to uranium (U), making it an essential tool for research, quality control, and industrial applications. Energy Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence (ED-XRF) measures the characteristic X-rays emitted by a sample when excited by a primary X-ray beam. Since each element emits X-rays with unique energies, the instrument accurately identifies and quantifies the elements present. The technique requires little or no sample preparation and is widely used for material verification, alloy identification, mining exploration, cement quality control, environmental studies, and research applications. ED-XRF enables simultaneous analysis of multiple elements with high precision while preserving the integrity of the sample.
