Electrical Impedance Analysis using an Impedance Analyzer is an advanced, non-destructive analytical technique used to evaluate the electrical response of materials and electronic components over a wide frequency range. The test measures impedance, capacitance, inductance, resistance, dielectric properties, and phase angle, providing valuable information about the electrical behavior of materials, devices, and circuits. An Impedance Analyzer applies a small AC voltage or current to a sample over a specified frequency range and measures the resulting electrical response. The measured impedance is analyzed to determine electrical parameters such as resistance, reactance, capacitance, inductance, dielectric constant, dielectric loss, conductivity, and phase angle. Impedance analysis is widely used in semiconductor research, battery development, dielectric materials, ceramics, polymers, fuel cells, sensors, electronic components, and advanced materials research. It is particularly valuable for studying charge transport mechanisms, polarization behavior, grain boundary effects, and electrochemical processes.
