50 kN Universal Strength Analyzer (Universal Testing Machine)
Mechanical Testing
The Tensile Strength Test is one of the most widely used mechanical tests for evaluating the strength and deformation behavior of materials under tensile loading. Using a 50 kN Universal Testing Machine (UTM), this test determines the tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, Young's modulus, and other mechanical properties of metals, polymers, composites, plastics, rubbers, and engineering materials. The Tensile Strength Test measures the behavior of a material when subjected to a gradually increasing tensile force until failure. During the test, the specimen is gripped at both ends and pulled at a controlled rate while force and displacement are continuously recorded. The generated stress-strain curve provides comprehensive mechanical properties such as tensile strength, yield strength, elastic modulus, fracture strength, elongation at break, and reduction in area. This test is essential for quality control, product development, material selection, failure analysis, research, and compliance with national and international standards.
